Matt and I have split up for a couple days, covering 1607 miles to hold chapter launches in East Lansing, MI and Nashville, TN over the weekend. I had a great meeting with the Michigan State University Forestry Club this afternoon, focusing on ways AmeriCorps programs are utilized to maintain our National Parks and natural resources. Check out the Montana Conservation Corps, which Pat Oakley, the 2007-08 Vice President of MSU’s Forestry Club, will be joining after graduation in May.
Matt’s going to be at Bongo Java on Sunday in Nashville at 1pm. Join him and other National Service supporters before he heads out to join me in Pittsburgh!
